Laundry is universal. Yet most U.S. households still use liquid detergent packaged in plastic bottles.
Every year, an estimated 700 million plastic detergent jugs are discarded in the United States, and only about 30% are recycled. The rest end up in landfills, waterways, or are incinerated – contributing to pollution, microplastics, and long-term environmental damage.
What’s inside those bottles is just as troubling.
Conventional detergents often contain:

Triple Good Fundraiser is a U.S.-based non-profit organization dedicated to reducing plastic waste, toxic chemical exposure, and environmental pollution. While helping schools, nonprofits, churches, and community organizations raise funds in a responsible way.
We believe what harms the planet ultimately harms people and what supports health should never come wrapped in plastic.
Our Story
Since 2015, our non-profit has been creating awareness about the health impacts of waste and pollution in Terre Haute, Indiana.
When we opened our zero-waste store, detergent sheets seemed like a promising alternative – but deeper research revealed serious shortcomings across most brands.
That journey ultimately inspired the creation of Triple Good Fundraiser – aligning responsible fundraising with healthier products and environmental responsibility.
Why Our Detergent Sheets Are Different
Most detergent sheets on the market offer limited transparency, often contain 15–30% PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) derived from petroleum, and are scented with synthetic fragrances or dyes. While some materials are considered biodegradable, their fossil-fuel origins and chemical additives can contribute to unnecessary environmental and household exposure.
We set out to do better – partnering with an innovative manufacturer in India to develop cleaner, more responsible formulation choices focused on reduced polymer content, improved enzymatic performance, and ingredient transparency.
